Just started working on my first ladder character. I'm going to continue to build and make characters, but I don't have virtually anything yet. I'm making a hammerdin right now, but I'll take ANYTHING for items that I can get.
Whatever I can get, I can compensate in various items and runes on Non-Ladder, or I can exchange Forum Gold and will pay very nicely for anything that's worth something.
